Biography of Mohammed Sharaf

Mohammed Sharaf has nearly two decades of experience in the transport and logistics business. He began his shipping career working at Holland Hook terminal in the Port of New York/New Jersey, joining Dubai Ports Authority (DPA) in 1992.  In 2003, he became Managing Director of Dubai Ports International (DPI), the international arm of DPA.  In 2005, the international and domestic arms of the business were integrated to become DP World.  Mr. Sharaf managed the successful acquisition of CSX WT in 2005 and of the P&O Group in 2006.
